Bondalti was awarded the "Organization of The Year" prize at the EIPM Peter Kraljic Awards, held in Paris by the European Institute of Purchasing Management, recognizing the excellence and innovative models applied by its Procurement area and its framework for sustainable development.
For the company, this award represents an important recognition of the work carried out by its Supply Chain department and, specifically, by the Procurement area, which over the years has been distinguished with several national and international titles.
At the EIPM Peter Kraljic Awards, this is the third time that Bondalti has won an award, after winning the "Procurement Transformation" category in 2019, for its ability to generate value for the company, customers and society in general, and the "Excellence Master of Business Continuity" award in 2020, which honored Bondalti for taking measures and adopting best practices in its supply network during the period marked by the Covid-19 pandemic. In Portugal, this area of Bondalti was recently considered by APCADEC - the Portuguese Purchasing and Supply Association - to be the best Purchasing Organization of 2023.
The award was presented yesterday as part of the conference entitled "Building the future through Innovation and Sustainability", which was attended by a number of national and international experts, including Anabela Pinto, Bondalti's Supply Chain Director, who received the award on behalf of the company.
The meeting focused on how the new challenges, related to decarbonization, the circular economy and the digital and energy transition, are impacting the supply chain in companies.
