Bondalti Biogas gets off to a flying start at the 4th Renewable Gas Fair

The start-up of the new biogas business area was Bondalti Water's highlight at the 4th Renewable Gas Fair, the most important event dedicated to biogas, biomethane and renewable gases in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, which took place in Valladolid, Spain.

This was Bondalti Biogás' first public appearance at a major event for the sector, with a total of more than 230 exhibitors and brands from 18 countries.

Together with leading players, the company showcased its technology and engineering capabilities for the design, construction and exploitation of biogas generated in wastewater treatment plants, an area in which it has extensive experience and is the Iberian leader.

Due to its environmental and economic benefits, the biogas segment is currently booming, with a potential of more than 2,500 installations in the Iberian market alone.

This was emphasised by Antonio Alonso, administrator of Bondalti Water, in a recent interview with the weekly newspaper Expresso, when he said that ‘we have a very wide business window, a great market opportunity’. He said that ‘Bondalti Biogas is almost a direct consequence of what we do, with industrial clients, large water consumers and large waste producers’.

During the 4th Renewable Gas Fair, Antonio Alonso took part, together with Luis Carlos Martinez, product manager for wastewater and biogas at Bondalti Water, in a session entitled ‘Green Industrial Revolution’. The presentation focused on the company's specialisation in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) in the biogas value chain for industry.
