Nine students from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) received the Bondalti Scholarships and the Amélia de Mello Foundation, during a ceremony that took place at the Civil Museum of the Alameda Campus. Among other entities, the vice-president of IST for the Academic Area, Alexandre Francisco, and, representing Bondalti, the director of Human Resources, Rosa Calinas, and the coordinator of Sustainability and Climate Transition, Susana Carvalho, were present.
This year, five students from different courses had their scholarships renewed, giving rise to four new assignments.
The students awarded in the 2022/2023 edition were Tiago Ferreira (Mechanical Engineering), José Coelho (Aerospace Engineering), Nuno Fernandes (Electrical and Computer Engineering), João Mestre (Computer and Computer Engineering), Lucília Catumbela (Chemical Engineering), Bernardo Prata (Computer and Computer Engineering), André Lopes (Aerospace Engineering), João Marques (Mechanical Engineering) and Gabriela Barros (Applied Mathematics and Computing).
Created in 2018, the Bondalti and Amélia de Mello Foundation Scholarships are accessible to students of any IST course enrolled in the 1st or 2nd cycle and who meet the eligibility conditions.
