Framework:

Bondalti is recruiting a Senior Research and Development Technician (m/f) to reinforce its Research and Development team at the Estarreja website.

Key Responsibilities: ‍

Identify and develop technological solutions, drawing on advanced knowledge of scientific principles, theory, and experimental design in adjacent scientific disciplines;

Develop and support the implementation of technical solutions, whether recurring or new, and that allow practical experimentation/problem solving and/or processes;

Promote internal technological capacity, as well as manage, reinforce and collaborate with external knowledge networks;

Collaborate, act and work in multidisciplinary project teams in order to be able to provide technical information and deliver results aligned with those intended;

To carry out technological and scientific surveillance, ensuring the monitoring of all technologies and scientific developments in the area;

Prepare, control, and submit IDI projects in co-partnership with other entities;

Accompany and manage projects and students in ongoing research grants;

Actively contribute to a culture of innovation and creativity in the company, using technological surveillance activities as support.

Requirements and Competencies: ‍

Master's or Doctorate in Chemical Engineering or equivalent;

Proven and relevant experience in applied Research & Development;

The candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge in analytical methods and in the use of statistical analysis and procedural simulation tools;

Experience in the follow-up/management of projects and funding will be valued;

Good verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English. You must be able to communicate results and progress to technical and management teams;

Ability to work independently and deliver a project;

High motivation to investigate and persevere in the face of challenges;

Leadership capacity and interpersonal relationships. You should be able to create partner relationships with teammates and stakeholders with different Backgrounds.
