Key Responsibilities:

Manage production activities, supporting the analysis of production levels and performance indicators by providing the inputs necessary for the preparation of reports and in accordance with established objectives and deadlines;

Use scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to investigate and diagnose procedural/manufacturing problems;

Collect operational data necessary for the implementation of improvements that increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of operations;

Plan shutdowns and starts of production units, minimizing production losses;

Participate in the development studies of investment projects in the area;

Develop and review procedures, operating manuals and/or work instructions related to the various production processes in the area, ensuring their compliance;

Promoter of a strong culture of safety behavior;

Comply with and promote the implementation of all environmental, quality, and safety procedures and standards.

Requirements and Competencies:

‍Academic qualifications at the level of Chemical Engineering;

Prior experience of at least 3 years in the chemical/petrochemical industry;

Proficiency in spoken and written English;

Knowledge of MSOffice, SAP (preferred);

Leadership, planning, and organization skills;

Sense of responsibility and results-orientation;

I like teamwork and knowledge sharing;

Easy to cooperate and communicate with colleagues and specialists from other departments;

Residence near Estarreja.
