Chlorine and derivatives are the chemicals of choice for the treatment and purification of water, whether for human consumption, process water, wastewater or for recreational purposes.

Bondalti is one of the main suppliers of this sector in the Iberian Peninsula, namely chlorine and sodium hypochlorite. Also relevant is the supply of hydrochloric acid, intended for the production of flocculants (polyaluminum chloride and ferric chloride) or for pH correction.
