Bondalti is one of the largest suppliers of hydrochloric acid to the metallurgical sector in the Iberian Peninsula, which uses it for metal pickling. In the aluminum industry, it provides caustic soda for the extraction of the main raw material, alumina, separating it from the bauxite ore.
