Ministers Pedro Reis and Maria da Graça Carvalho were received by the president of Bondalti, João de Mello, who explained the company's ongoing projects and the heavy investment planned for the end of the decade.
Today, December 2, Bondalti welcomed the Portuguese Minister of the Economy, Pedro Reis, and the Portuguese Minister of the Environment and Energy, Maria da Graça Carvalho, to the Estarreja Chemical Complex, for a visit in which they learned about the company's main strategic lines and the role it intends to play in the major challenges related to decarbonisation.
During the event, João de Mello emphasised the importance of this industrial hub for the regional and national economy, as well as the progress made in the areas of energy transition and technological innovation, within the framework of the commitments made in environmental matters.
Over the next five years, Bondalti intends to invest around 700 million euros in sustainable growth projects.
