Bondalti Water debuts with integrated solutions for the Iberian and international water sector

Bondalti has just launched “Bondalti Water”, a name that now identifies its business area that combines the skills of the recently acquired companies, AEMA and Enkrott, in providing solutions for the complete water treatment and reuse cycle.

Bondalti Water aims to bring sustainability to its customers, through circular solutions in the field of water, avoiding its waste. Its global offering includes the design, engineering and assembly of solutions for the complete water cycle, their operation, maintenance and technical assistance, as well as the design, production and sale of specialized equipment.

Bondalti Water also has an accredited analysis laboratory and also includes biogas as an axis of development, since the adoption of innovative technologies for the treatment of effluents in certain industrial sectors, such as the food industry, results in the production of this energy source.

The new brand in the Bondalti universe, a company belonging to the José de Mello group, brings together more than 300 professionals, spread across Portugal, Spain and Angola. This is a dimension that allows serving local markets, but also several other international geographies through exports, in the most diverse areas of business and industrial activity, as well as in the municipal sector.

The new brand results from the union between the companies AEMA (of Spanish origin) and Enkrott (of Portuguese origin), acquired by Bondalti, and represents a long-term commitment to a sector of activity aligned with major global sustainable development trends, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on efficiency in the use, supply and access to drinking water (SDG 6) and the guarantee of sustainable consumption and production standards (SDG 12).

For João de Mello, president of Bondalti, “the launch of a unique identity for this business area reflects the relevance of the water sector in Bondalti's responsible growth strategy, placing the skills of our people and the capacity for innovation at the service of sustainable development. Due to the growing breadth and complementarity of its services, solutions and technologies, Bondalti increasingly assumes itself as a supplier of sustainability to its customers”.

Luís Rebelo da Silva, president of Bondalti Water Solutions, SA, affirms, for his part, that “this new brand consolidates the integration of the Spanish AEMA with the Portuguese company Enkrott, in a union that translates into a differentiating offer in the market due to the ability to deliver solutions throughout the entire water cycle. In this way, we have combined extensive skills and a long experience that allow our clients to manage an increasingly scarce resource in an integrated and sustainable way”.
