For the third consecutive year, Bondalti was awarded the EcoVadis platinum medal, the highest awarded by this global organization dedicated to the assessment of corporate sustainability.
The result obtained in the most recent EcoVadis assessment highlights Bondalti's commitment to complying with the strictest ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) criteria and the success of the reference practices it has implemented in the development of its business.
The company received an average score of 82 points out of 100 in the four categories evaluated, especially the Environment category, in which it obtained 90 points. Evaluating the remaining categories - Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Purchasing - EcoVadis recognized Bondalti's global merit and maintained the “Platinum” distinction, which allows the company to remain once again in the Top 1% of companies in the sector, placing 36 points above the average.
“The renewal of this recognition is a demonstration of the robustness of our responsible business strategy and of our results in ESG matters. But it also reveals the journey ahead of us to maintain the trust of all our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in our commitment to generate value for all people and for the planet. This is our ambition and the purpose that drives us,” says João de Mello, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bondalti.
Every year, EcoVadis independently analyzes the level of commitment and performance of more than 100,000 companies that are part of this global network, in which more than 200 sectors from more than 175 countries are represented.
