For four days, Porto will host a summer school with hydrogen as its central theme, bringing to the debate the numerous opportunities that the most abundant element on the planet can generate for the urgent energy transition.
The sharing of scientific knowledge about hydrogen production technologies and the way in which it can play a key role in the energy transition are the central axes of the second edition of the “International H2 Summer School”, an initiative that will take place between September 5 and 8 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
Aware of the important contribution it can make in this field, through the knowledge acquired in hydrogen production over decades, Bondalti joined the initiative as a sponsor. The company's participation will also include the presence of the project manager, José Nogueira, at a round table that will take place on the last day of the event, under the theme “The Hydrogen Age”.
Over the four days, the participants of the “H2 Summer School” will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in areas as fundamental as electrochemistry, as well as to visit the FEUP laboratories during the “Lab Open Day”.
The event will include the participation of several nationally and internationally renowned personalities from the scientific, business and political fields, and will have a hybrid assistance format (in person or online).
Bondalti is strongly committed to contributing to the development of large scale projects related to green hydrogen and to the decarbonization of the economy in general, within the framework of the search for more sustainable development models that generate a positive impact on the entire society.
